The Running workshop aims to enhance your skills, boost strength, and prevent injuries.

 

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, there's always something new to learn.

This workshop includes preparation to run, becoming a stronger runner and recovery & mobility.

 

Complete the day with a guided trail run or hike around the beautiful Mount Edgecumbe countryside and a relaxing session in the Lit Woodfired Sauna and Cold Water Plunge.

Led by Sarah Walker, a highly experienced running coach with 15 years of expertise in Strength & Conditioning for running performance, injury prevention, and sports biomechanics, and trained with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association, this workshop offers engaging, informative, and hands-on guidance. With a proven track record of helping runners become strong, resilient, and injury-free, Sarah’s approach is designed to be applicable to your daily runs. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just beginning your journey, you’ll gain valuable knowledge to enhance your performance, move safely, and achieve your goals.

  • Recovery Protocols: Understand science-backed methods, including stretching, foam rolling, and active recovery exercises, to help your body bounce back after runs.

End Your Workshop Day on a High Note at Mount Edgcumbe

As the perfect finale to an enriching workshop day, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the breath-taking scenery of Mount Edgcumbe. Choose between two energising options to wrap up the day:

1️⃣ Trail Run, Sauna and Cold Water Plunge: Head out on a guided scenic trail run through the lush landscapes of Mount Edgcumbe, taking in the stunning coastal views and historic charm of the area. Afterward, rejuvenate your body with an invigorating sauna and cold water plunge — a refreshing way to promote muscle recovery and leave you feeling renewed.

2️⃣ Sauna and Cool Water Plunge, Followed by relaxing Trail Walk: If you prefer a gentler finish, start with a cooling plunge and sauna to soothe tired muscles, followed by a tranquil trail walk around Mount Edgcumbe’s beautiful paths. This is a fantastic way to unwind, soak up nature, and reflect on the day’s learnings.

Whichever option you choose, this closing activity combines the joy of movement with mindful recovery, leaving you inspired and ready to take your running journey to the next level.
